Energy Markets Global Limited (EMG) was commissioned by an International Oil Company in July 2017 to carry out a LNG access and market study of United Arab Emirates (UAE), specifically Dubai.
The study included an analysis and description of the structure surrounding LNG supplies to Dubai and other UAE states. It evaluated the new Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) contracted by the Dubai Government to upgrade the LNG import capacity from 3 million tons to 6 million tons a year.
EMG provided an update on the Dubai LNG situation, how LNG can arrive into Dubai and how it can reach consumers. This covered existing pipeline and LNG options.
